Avengers Assemble

We saw the Avengers come together last summer as Avengers Assemble hit the big screen and brought Phase One of Marvel movies to a close.

Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson were all on board as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Nick Fury.

The movie was a box office smash as it grossed in excess of $1.5 billion to become the third biggest grossing movie of all time.

Director Joss Whedon will be returning for the second Avengers movie and filming is expected to get underway early next year.

Much like the first Avengers 2 will being Phase Two of Marvel movies to a close in 2015.
