Big Brother looks set to be no more after bosses at Channel 4 have decided to scrap the show following this year’s disastrous ratings.
This year has seen a meagre two million viewers tune in to watch the tenth series of the reality show, compared to a whopping eight million viewers just a few series’ ago!
To be honest, I still love Big Brother as much as I did with the first series, I know it’s not the coolest show on TV, but I find it interesting to see how completely different people interact with each other; and I have to say that summer nights in will be a lot more boring without it!
Not to worry too much though, as we might still get a fix next year, as Channel 4 already have a £180million deal with the show's makers Endemol, and providing they can sell the show to another channel, we will still get a dose of house action.
It’s not all bad for BB though, as the show has launched the careers of memorable housemates such as Jade Goody, Craig Phillips, Chantelle Houghton and Chanelle Hayes, and fans of Celebrity Big Brother are likely to still get to watch the spin off in January as that is also part of C4's current deal.
But let’s try and save it shall we? What do you think could be done ot make it better?
