A UK shopper was stunned to be serenaded with a personal song at her local market after her husband entered a competition to show his love.

Ruth Tesdale was the centre of attention in Chesterfield when the Clintons Choir performed a specially-dedicated track for her after her husband Tom entered the 'Sing it with Love' competition with Clintons Cards.

Ruth said: ''I couldn't believe my eyes! I had popped out for a spot of shopping in the market when all of a sudden a surprise choir burst into song right in front of me, I was stunned! Hearing Tom's heart-felt words through song left me speechless. I'm not sure how I'm going to trump this!''

The gift and card retailer chose eight winners to be serenaded with a personalised verse and their choir traveled the country to surprise the recipients.
