'Fifa 13' has played a part in 12 per cent of break ups in the last month, a new survey claims.
According to 1,124 newly-single people, who were polled by VoucherCodesPro about the reason for the demise of their relationship of one year or less, more than one in 10 said the soccer video game made a big contribution to the end of their romance.
While infidelity was blamed for being the biggest relationship breaker by 36 per cent of the people surveyed, nearly half (43 per cent) of the 12 per cent of those who mentioned 'Fifa 13' - which was released in September - said their partner was spending more time playing the title than with them.
What's more, 87 per cent said the person in their relationship playing the game was male.
