Bill Whitwam has used the machine - that was produced in 1929 - to clean an amazing 224 acres over its lifetime and claims it's never needed any parts replacing apart from the occasional rewiring.
He told The Sun newspaper: ''In its lifetimes it's covered some distance - fortunately I haven't done it all. I'm living in a two-bedroom terraced house after downsizing five years ago from a five bedroom detached house.
