A British man on the run sent a newspaper a picture of himself because he didn't like his police mugshot.
Wanted burglar Matthew Maynard sent the South Wales Evening Post a replacement photo showing him posing in front of a police van after the paper published what he deemed to be an inferior photo.
The newspaper subsequently published it on their front page.
Everyone in Swansea will know what he looks like now.
South Wales Police had sent local media a photo of Maynard, 23, as part of a crackdown on crime in the Welsh town of Swansea.
The police thanked him for helping them in their appeal, and said: "Everyone in Swansea will know what he looks like now."
