A passenger on a flight from Moscow experienced a different kind of air rage - when he was beaten up by intoxicated air stewards. Two crew members, reportedly on Russia's leading airline, Aeroflot, were accused by a passenger of being drunk - which sparked an "unprecedented" reversal - when they launched themselves on him. Irina Dannenberg of Aeroflot, who said the plane was carrying out an Aeroflot flight, but the aircraft and crew belonged to airline Aviaenegro, revealed: "Seeing that the crew were intoxicated and were not fulfilling their duties, the man asked to be served by a sober and competent flight attendant. He was then beaten up by crew members."The attendants, who on Russian flights, claim to often struggle to keep intoxicated passengers under control, were said to be so drunk they only began catering to passengers an hour and a half into the four-hour trip. Another passenger is quoted in Russia's daily newspaper Izyestia as saying half the food they served ended up on the floor. The injured man reportedly left the plane, at the Siberian city of Nizhnevartovsk, with a black eye and reported the incident to the police after visiting a doctor. All the aeroplane's staff have been dismissed while investigations are underway.0Comments | Be the first to comment!
