Bizarre News Deer Swims The Channel

Thats bizarre: British sailors were left stunned this week after a deer swam for more than two kilometres across a busy shipping lane.The roe deer managed to dodge passed passenger ferries and cargo ships to cross an inlet in the Solent strait, off of the south coast of England.When it had finished the marathon swim, the exhausted animal promptly walked out of the water before fleeing into the wild. Hugh Rose of the British Deer Society said: "This might be a case of young roe deer wanting to set up by themselves or simply striking out in search of pastures new."
