Bizarre - A UK woman has started an online dating agency for dogs.
Liz Tattersall, 62, from Selby, North Yorkshire, dreamt up the idea after her sister-in-law - who is a dog breeder - struggled to find a suitable stud dog.
Liz said: "The original idea was for a website on which people could put a profile of their dog if they wanted to breed from it, and were looking for a suitable match.
"Like any dating service, if you are meeting other dog owners for the first time, do so in a public place or take someone along with you."
The website also allows dog owners to organise group walks, buy dogs or exchange tips.
Liz added: "Dog owners in cities don't socialise together that much. Hopefully, they can get together through the website."
