A Chinese man who was beaten and imprisoned for the murder of his wife has been released after she turned up alive and with a new husband.The man's wife disappeared in 1994 after an argument the couple had an argument and shortly afterwards a body was found in a nearby reservoir.The police arrested the man and beat him for 11 days before making a confession.But late last month, the woman reappeared having lived in Shandong province for the last 11 years where she had married another man.The man is furious over his false conviction and the way he was treated.
