A Japanese firm has invented 'wink glasses' for obsessive video gamers.
The spectacles have been designed for players concentrating on the TV screen for long periods of time by prompting the wearer to blink and avoid dry eyes.
The $450 glasses - from Japanese company Masunaga - use sensors to tell when the wearer has not blinked for more than five seconds.
They then 'fog up' by gradually turning a liquid crystal display over the eye opaque, which is cleared by a simple blink.
The glasses are powered by a rechargeable battery or the USB port on the user's computer.
