Fernando Perez Hurtado, a civilian judge from San Juan Del Rio, was dismissed for abusing his authority after he tried to paint a teenage graffiti artist's bottom as punishment for 'tagging' - the practice of writing a symbol or name - on a number of public buildings.
The unnamed teenager was in court when the judge imposed the bizarre punishment instead of forcing his parents to pay a fine.
The judge ordered the young artist to pull down his trousers before concerned officials stepped in.
Fernando is now facing a three year ban from public office and a fine.
