Spanish police have found over $6 million buried in a shanty town on the island of Mallorca.
Narcotics investigators used heavy construction equipment to tear up the concrete floor of a shack near the city of Palma.
Among the rubble, they found seven boxes filled with $6.269 cash, 7.5kg of jewellery and precious stones and undisclosed amounts of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
One box was buried under a dog house on the property.
The find was part of a series of raids aimed at breaking up a notorious Spanish drug ring.
