Bus Company Slammed For Sexy Pictures

A British bus company has been criticised for the sexy matron images in their advertising campaign.

Worcestershire-based Diamond Bus Company - who have used a picture of a blonde woman wearing a tight sexy dress alongside the slogan 'Ooooh matron!' for their recent adverts - have rejected claims that their sign demeans the nursing profession.

Stephen Bryce, Diamond's head of operations, defended the promotional campaign after local nurses called for the company to axe the mage from the back of their buses.

He said: "The advert is simply to provide a message that we provide a transport service into the hospital - a place which has its own parking issues - and put a smile on people's faces.''
