To celebrate David’s birthday the celebrities were told that they would have the chance to win a birthday cake. The cake would be suspended above Camp and the celebrities would have to answer one question each in order to win. If they answered the question right the cake would be lowered further into the Camp, but if they got it wrong it would explode.
‘Oh my god it looks good’ said Joe.
Joe was first up, his question was ‘According to the EastEnders website what was Micky Miller’s catchphrase, a: cheap at half the price or b: leave it out mate. As the celebrities all hushed to let the actor think, he correctly pressed a on the podium and the cake was lowered.
Next up was Martina who was asked how many matches she has played at Wimbledon championships, singles, doubles and mixed. Unsure which of the two answers were correct, a: 326 or b: 426 she correctly guessed that the correct answer was ‘A’.
Now Brian’s turn he was asked who according to the 2008 Pink list was the most influential gay or lesbian in Britain, himself or Samantha Fox. The celebrities all felt it would be Brian so he pressed the button. Unfortunately that was the wrong answer and the cake exploded.’
‘I had this feeling in the back of mind that it was Samantha Fox’ admitted Brian, ‘but the almost unanimous view of my colleagues was surely I must be the more influential than Samantha Fox.’
Disappointed he missed out on a cake for his birthday, Simon handed David a piece of the exploded cake that had landed in his bag which David then ate.
