The rich fruit flavour still stands out
The 2,000 bottles of Coronation Ale were made to celebrate Edward VIII's first year on the throne, but when he abdicated after less than a year to marry Wallis Simpson they were stored away.
The beer was discovered by builders working on a brewery in Suffolk, East England.
Head brewer John Bexton explained: ''This really would have been a fantastic beer in its day, it was 12% when it was brewed so is quite strong and has kept really well. The rich fruit flavour still stands out.''
