The cast of 'Glee' have raised nearly $15,000 after they auctioned signed tissues.
''So many tears, so many tissues needed from last night's episode- so why not do some good while we're at it?''
Darren Criss - who plays Blaine Anderson in the popular Fox comedy-drama TV show - decided the programme's recent episode 'The Break Up' was such a tear-jerker that it should be commemorated, so he set up an auction of tissues, which were named after a combination of the stars' characters' monikers.
In a tweet after the episode aired, he wrote: ''So many tears, so many tissues needed from last night's episode- so why not do some good while we're at it?''
The biggest seller was 'Klaine' tissues signed by Darren and Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), which went for $9,500 (£5,920), closely followed by Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Cory Monteith's (Finn Hudson) 'Finchel' tissues, which sold for $3,500 (£2,180).
'Brittana' tissues, signed by Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez) and Heather Morris (Brittany S. Pierce), sold for $1,850 (£1,150).
