Residents of a Florida, US town can now wash their dogs and cars at the same time thanks to a self-service doggy washer.

To attract more people to his car washes, the owner of the town of Stuart's CarPro Auto Spa has installed a coin-operated, self service pet washing machines, known as a K9000.

You don't have to bend over to wash your dog, whether it's big or small. You're not making a mess in your house.

Owner Mike Edwards said: "You don't have to bend over to wash your dog, whether it's big or small. You're not making a mess in your house."

The 24 hour pet pampering systems - which include blow-drying, flea treatments and grooming products - cost $10 for 10 minutes' use.

The Stuart and Palm City dog spas are the sixth and seventh K9000 locations in the US.
