Glass Shave

A British man had found a piece of glass in his face from 30 years ago.

When Thomas Entwistle cut himself shaving, he was shocked to find a chunk of glass in the wound which had been lodged in his face ever since he was involved in a car crash in 1979.

He said: "I had no idea what it was and I certainly never expected it to be part of a Ford Cortina windscreen. It has always just been there and has never caused me any problems until I noticed it had moved down my chin. I always thought it was a cyst."

Thomas had been involved in a head-on collision in Edgworth, when he was sent flying through the windscreen, knocked unconscious and hospitalised.
