Hit-and-run Accident

A hit-and-run driver in the US fled the scene of an accident with a man still stuck to his windscreen.

Driver Christopher Swiridowsky drove into a group of three men standing on the edge of a New Jersey interstate and drove for over a mile with 24-year-old Jose Flores impaled on the front of his car.

The driver only stopped his vehicle when he realised he was being followed.

Police said that he fled on foot and was later found hiding in his home.

Flores suffered two broken legs and a broken arm and one of the other men hit was left in a critical state.

Swiridowsky has since been charged with leaving the scene of a crime.
