Jorgie Porter: Bambi On Ice

Jorgie Porter has admitted she had no skating skills when she first started training for 'Dancing On Ice', and her style resembled that of Disney character Bambi.

Jorgie Porter was "like Bambi" when she first started training for 'Dancing On Ice'.

Although the skating show only returned to screens this month, the 'Hollyoaks' actress has been training with her professional partner Matt Evers since November but admitted she struggled to even stay upright at first.

She said: "I've been doing lifts, I can go backwards... spins sometimes, if I'm having a good day.

"I was like Bambi when I first hit the ice, the only way I could stop was to run into a barrier; but now I'm skilled."

Although Jorgie - who plays Theresa McQueen in 'Hollyoaks' scored an impressive 18.5 on her debut, she claims she isn't taking part in the ITV1 show to win and fears she may even "decapitate someone".

She added in an interview with Nuts magazine: "To be honest, I don't put myself in there for winning. I like to hope I'd get somewhere though.

"I've been watching 'Blades of Glory', so I just hope I don't decapitate someone."

While the blonde beauty is enjoying her 'Dancing On Ice' experience, she has no plans to turn her back on acting for more reality TV shows.

Jorgie explained: "It seems like there's a lot of cool people doing stuff like 'I'm a Celebrity'... but I can't stand bugs and I don't think I could do it. I'd like to think I'd be really happy and excited doing it, but in reality I'd probably throw-up."
