A squirrel jumped out from a US woman's cleavage during a police interview.

The baby animal climbed out from the woman's bra as she was being questioned by officers investigating a murder in Warren, Ohio.

I was not prepared to see a woodland creature in the interview room. I kept on talking to her and listening to her. I didn't acknowledge it at all.

Detective Warren Mackey said: "I was not prepared to see a woodland creature in the interview room. I kept on talking to her and listening to her. I didn't acknowledge it at all."

Both the officers and the woman continued the interview without mentioning the animal and CCTV footage shows the woman scooping the furry creature up and placing it back in between her breasts.
