(BANG) A Mexican man has had his wallet returned 43 years after he lost it.
Epigmenio Sanchez, who now lives in California, lost his wallet in 1964, but had no idea where.
Having long given up hope of ever seeing it again, the 70-year-old was stunned when construction workers renovating a cinema said they’d discovered it jammed inside a radiator.
After spotting the weathered leather workers had to saw apart the radiator to reach it.
The wallet still contained a selection of pictures, charge cards and Sanchez’s birth certificate.
It didn’t contain any money, but Sanchez can’t remember whether there was any in it at the time.
He said: "I remember losing it. I just didn’t remember where."
