A former US mayor has been arrested for camping naked.
Mark Musselwhite - the former mayor of Georgia - was charged with public indecency after officers from the Department of Natural Resources discovered him sitting nude at a Rabunu County campsite.
Earlier that day members of the public had complained about seeing a naked man walking along a nearby road.
Republican Musselwhite - who served for six years on the Gainesville City Council from 2000, including a stint as mayor - denied he was the object of the complaints.
However, the 43-year-old man did tell officers he had spent the day swimming in a nearby river.
