'Coronation Street' actress Michelle Keegan has sworn herself off tequila this New Year's Eve (31.12.11) after a nasty experience with the alcoholic drink.

The 'Coronation Street' actress - who plays brunette bombshell Tina McIntyre in the ITV1 soap - explained after a recent experience where she "couldn't move" after drinking shots of the liqueur, she won't be opting for it this year.

I tend to do just legs. I can't really do boobs because mine are quite big, so I can look a bit OTT. I don't like getting too dressed up, either, as I don't feel myself.

She said: "I had a hangover after drinking tequila not long ago and - I'm not joking - I couldn't move the next day. It was horrible! I needed to let the dogs out for a wee in the morning and I couldn't get out of my bed. That's how ill I was.

"No tequila ever again!"

In terms of her party outfit for New Year's Eve, Michelle - who is engaged to The Wanted hunk Max George - admitted she won't be going too "over the top".

She added in an interview with new! magazine: "What I wear actually tends to be quite similar to what I normally go out on, just a bit more glittery. I don't go too over the top!
