A man from Nepal has bitten a cobra to death.
''I could have killed it with a stick but bit it with my teeth instead because I was angry.''
Mohamed Salmo Miya was so angry after being chomped by the snake in his rice paddy that he chased it down and caught it before attempting to take a chunk out of the animal to get his own back on it.
He told the Nepali daily Annapurna Post: ''I could have killed it with a stick but bit it with my teeth instead because I was angry.''
Police official Niraj Shahi revealed Mohamed was not in danger of dying and he would not be charged with killing the snake because it was not on the endangered species list in Nepal.
