Daniel Angerer, the owner of Klee Brasserie in Manhattan, decided to experiment with the unusual ingredient after his freezer ran out of space for the milk his wife had produced for their newborn daughter.

According to Daniel, the milk - which he matures for a fortnight - tastes, "just like really sweet cow's milk".
He added: "It wasn't like, 'Hey, this is such an amazing cheese.' It's just like, 'Can you use human milk? Yes, you absolutely can!' "
The cheese dish, which is only being offered for a limited period, can be ordered by any customer at the restaurant.
