A British murder mystery party failed to spot a real crime taking place.
Eight guests at a bash in The Elim Pentecostal church in Yeovil, Somerset, spent hours playing detective in a church looking for fictional clues - but failed to notice the real-life crime which took place at the same time.
You'd have thought eight wannabe detectives might have noticed a real crime a few metres from them only hours earlier.
While the partygoers enjoyed their evening, thieves stole a TV and laptop, as well as raiding a safe on the church grounds.
Rev Davenport said: "You'd have thought eight wannabe detectives might have noticed a real crime a few metres from them only hours earlier."
