Olly Murs admits it is "likely" he will return to 'The Xtra Factor'.

The 'Heart Skips A Beat' hitmaker - who rose to fame on ITV1's 'The X Factor' in 2009 - has previously claimed he was worried about being typecast as a presenter rather than a singer, but he now hopes to host the show again next year.

He said: "It looks likely that I will do 'The Xtra Factor' again. But I don't want to do any other TV. I don't want TV to overshadow the music."

Olly co-hosts the show alongside Caroline Flack and while the pair kept the public entertained with their chemistry, the singer admitted their on-air flirting was a ploy to get more viewers.

He told The Sun newspaper: "It was a conscious decision to play up the 'Are they? Aren't they?' thing but we got on so well that we flirted with each other anyway.

"At the start we flirted a lot and people were talking but now we've got to the end of the series we're just good mates."

Although the 27-year-old entertainer is now a successful singer and TV presenter, he explained his friends find his fame "weird".

He said: "My friends do still find it weird. But they have not changed with me. They just think it is really exciting and they are as excited as I am."
