A US man has beaten his father to win his seventh cherry pip spitting championship.
Brian 'Young Gun' Krause spat a cherry pip 56 feet, seven and a half inches in Michigan to take the title. Brian beat his father - Rick 'Pellet Gun' Krause - the defending champion, by six and a half inches.
Brian, 39, holds the current Guinness World Record after spitting a pip 93 feet, six and a half inches in 2003.
Women's champion Amanda Jennings did not qualify for the championship competition but retained her title with a spit of 43 feet, 11 inches.
