A US teacher accidentally sent elementary school pupils home with a raunchy DVD of herself.

Crystal Defanti, a teacher at Isabelle Jackson Elementary in California, had given her students a disc of school memories " but the footage included a six-second clip of the teacher pleasuring herself.

After receiving an irate call from one parent, Crystal called the other parents in a panic, begging them to destroy the tapes.

Despite the incident, the school board decided against dismissing the teacher.

School district spokeswoman Torrey Johnson is quoted as saying: "Just destroy the tapes."
