An Italian businessman has recreated his ex-girlfriend as a sex doll.

The 50-year-old man paid $18,558 for a lifesize replica of his former love to be created by adult toymaker Diego Bortolin.

However, while the dejected dumpee wanted the doll - which functions "just like the real thing" - to look exactly like his ex-girlfriend, he demanded she be given a boost in the bust department.

Mr. Bortolin explained: "She was a smiling blonde but he wanted bigger boobs and a curvier backside."

The man provided the toymaker with an extensive collection of photographs of his former partner so the replica sex doll could be a perfect likeness, right down to the shape of her nails and teeth.
