Mother-of-one Lareece Butler - who plummeted to the ground when her parachute became entangled during a sky-dive - ended up in hospital but somehow escaped with only bruises, a broken leg and concussion.
Joos Vos, the manager of EP Skydiving Club, said Lareece was lucky to be alive.
Although the parachute did partially inflate, it was rotating and becoming more entangled as she dropped. Having fallen from 3,000 ft she is extremely lucky to have survived.
He said: "It should have all run smoothly but she exited the plane in an unusual and unstable position. This caused the parachute leads to become entangled.
