Star Wars Fan Re-hired

A British 'Star Wars' fan has received an apology from an employment centre who threw him out.

Chris Jarvis, 31 - who is a member of the International Church of Jediism, based on the famous sci-fi films - was escorted out of an employment centre after refusing to remove his hood, despite the fact his belief states followers should be allowed to wear them.

Chris filled out a complaint form and received a formal letter from the branch's boss Wendy Flewers just three days later.

She wrote: "I would like to apologise that on this occasion you were asked to remove your hood which you have stated is not acceptable as part of your religious belief. It was not our intention to offend you".
