Plants attract swingers

A British journalist has inadvertently advertised herself as a swinger by installing two plants outside her London home.
Sunday newspaper agony aunt Mariella Frostrup and her husband have been swamped with unwanted enquiries from frisky couples ever since they planted two Cortaderia selloana plants outside her property in the capital's exclusive Notting Hill district.
Unbeknown to Mariella, two plants outside a door is a secret signal for wife-swapping duos.
Writing on her twitter page, she said: ""Who knew that pampas grass plants are a signal to fellow swingers? Bought two and put them on my balcony. Neighbours have been swarming!"
She is now planning to get rid of the plants to avoid further unwanted advances from swingers.
