A drunk US couple forced a 13-year-old boy to drive them home.
According to San Anselmo Police Sergeant Rob Schneider, the pair had been out for dinner in California when they consumed too much alcohol during the meal to legally drive home.
Instead of calling a taxi company, Heather Choulos and her boyfriend decided to save their money and make her teenage son get behind the wheel instead.
Police found the underage boy at the wheel when he stalled the car on a major road.
He apparently said he was "freaked out" and refused to drive any further.
Choulos, 32, was charged with child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
