''forces with evil goals bent on putting an end to national values''
According to RIA-Novosti, some officials in the country have unofficially prohibited a number of concerts in honour of the February 14 celebration.
This comes after the Turkiston newspaper last year described the date as ''forces with evil goals bent on putting an end to national values''.
However, residents of the country's capital Tashkent are able to enjoy poem readings by Mughal emperor Babur, who passed away in the 16th century.
