Video footage of what appears to be guano (pigeon faeces) descending from above and into Young's mouth has circulated on the internet, but the footballer is adamant it was not bird poo.
Speaking to the Guardian newspaper, Young said: ''I can, 100 percent, absolutely confirm it was not bird poo.
''But I'd love to know who put that video out and how they did it. Or what my reaction might have been if it actually was.''
