Neil Murphy, from Belfast, opted to have a bit of fun at the expense of his scammer when he was sent a message asking for a donation.

Neil said he'd spend as much as £851 if his scammer was willing to do the unusual task he requested.

When the scammer took issue with the suggestion, Neil replied: ''I cannot trust you. I have been scammed before.

''Last time I sent somebody the Bitcoin and he sent me a picture of him dressed as a badger instead of a raccoon and he didn't even scavenge in a bin.''

And after some negotiation, the scammer did eventually perform the task and even sent the embarrassing pictures to Neil.
