A corpse in South Africa woke up in a morgue and demanded to be moved from "this cold place".
His family thought he had died
The body of a 50-year-old grandfather, who was thought to be dead, gave two workers the shock of their lives when he woke up in the mortuary, which led the pair to leave thinking it was a ghost, according to South African health spokesman Sizwe Kupelo.
But they later returned to find the man alive and called for help.
Sizwe added: "His family thought he had died. [They] called a private undertaker who took what they thought was a dead body to the morgue, but the man woke up inside the morgue on Sunday and screamed, demanding to be taken out of the cold place."
