A cat was dubbed the 'man-eater' by a vet after the animal swallowed a large toy.
Daisy was given the unfortunate nickname when her concerned owners took her to the vet after she was spotted eating a three-inch long action figure.
Her owner, Maggie O'Callaghan had innocently left a box of children's toys out in her home in Sedgley, West Midlands when the opportunistic kitty decided to eat the plastic man.
Steve Ashman, a vet at St George's Veterinary Group, was able to safely remove the toy, but not before dubbing the cat the 'man-eater'.
With her pet safely at home, Maggie said: ''She is absolutely fine now, she is eating and drinking and looking for toys that aren't there.''
