Empire Cinemas, the largest independently-owned cinema chain in the UK, have released a list of the items that have been left behind in their 18 establishments over the past year.

The list of unclaimed items include a live chicken, a loaf of bread, toilet roll, a dog's collar and a child's tooth, as well as an inflatable doll of 'X Factor' boss Cowell and even a child, who was quickly reclaimed.

People's strange cinema snack habits have also been revealed.

A half-eaten tub of butter complete with finger marks was discovered in a cinema in Wigan, north west England.

What's more, crucial necessity's such as walking sticks, shoes, socks, hats, hearing aids, and false teeth have all also been found left behind at such venues.
