Unsuspecting Londoners were chosen as the first test-subjects for Alton Towers Resort's latest Halloween attraction.

The brave individuals were singled out to take on the scare maze and will go on to be the first to experience the theme park's brand-new secret attraction for 2018, known by its codename Secret Weapon 8.
On Thursday (19.10.17), the people were chosen across the capital by a mysterious group from the woods surrounding the village of Alton.
The commuters were carted into a rickety wooden cage on wheels and were given a glimpse of what guests can expect at the live action maze - which is a prelude to SW8.
On Halloween night (31.10.17), more members of the public will be singled-out by the unidentified figures at the theme park and will be tasked with braving the maze attraction in the hope of joining the elite team of SW9 participants next year.
