Delivery man saves pizzas after train crash

A pizza delivery man in the US managed to escape without injury when a train smashed into his car - and he made sure he took his cargo with him.

A pizza delivery man in the US managed to escape unhurt when his motor was turned into a mangled mess after being hit a train - and he took his cargo with him.

The man in Michigan followed his satellite navigation system onto the tracks, which led to the vehicle smashing into his motor when his car got stuck. He escaped without injury and made sure he took the pizzas with him.

Galien Township Fire Chief Jim Trapp told the Herald Palladium: "He saved the pizza. He offered it to us. Of course, we didn't accept it."

Police Chief Dale Longacre explained: "He was using a GPS. It said 'turn here,' so he did, and he misjudged and turned onto the railroad tracks and got hung up on the ties."
