Drunk woman arrested after mistaking jail for bar
A drunk woman was arrested after mistaking her local jail for a bar.
The intoxicated 39 year old arrived at the Van Buren County Sheriff's department in Paw Paw, Michigan, after confusing the jail for a bar where she was due to collect her boyfriend.
The woman was arrested shortly after walking inside when police smelt alcohol on her and breathalysed her, revealing she was twice over the legal limit, reports the Metro newspaper.
She is now facing drink drive charges.
