Ant and Dec are back with I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

The award winning series is back with another bunch of celebrities preparing to leave their loved-ones and luxuries behind as they’re dumped in the middle of the Australian jungle with only the wildlife and each other for company.

TV’s toughest celebrity challenge returns for its eighth series and this time the boundaries will be pushed to the limit.

The ten celebrities heading into the jungle for series eight are: charity campaigner and journalist Esther Rantzen; politician and television presenter Robert Kilroy-Silk; model and personal fitness trainer Carly Zucker; singer Simon Webbe, formerly of boy band Blue; tennis legend Martina Navratilova; actor Joe Swash; TV presenter Dani Behr; Heroes and Star Trek legend George Takei; Brian Paddick, Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the Metropolitan Police, and glamour model Nicola McLean.

Cut off from the outside world in one of the cruellest environments on earth, the personalities have just basic food rations to survive on and will have to undergo petrifying and stomach-churning challenges to win supplies.

This year the famous Bushtucker Trials are set to be the most terrifying yet and there will be plenty of new surprises to keep the celebrities on their toes every step of the way.

Ant and Dec are back to present live from the jungle and keep viewers up to date with all the latest gossip and news. As always, the fate of the jungle VIPs rests firmly in the hands of the British public.

Viewers will decide which celebrity will take on the dreaded Bushtucker Trials and who, ultimately, will win the coveted crown.

Executive producer Richard Cowles said: "We have a magnificent cast of celebrities in place but their trip to the jungle promises to be anything but a walk in the park. Each year, in a bid to test the celebrities, we develop new ways of pushing the boundaries and this series will push them further than ever before. We have bundles of surprises up our sleeves and some of the most gruelling Bushtucker Trials ever seen."
