''[The spike] was totally healed so much have been in it for a while. We were wondering if the spike entered through the mouth because the thin bit was at the end.''
A fisherman was left shocked after catching a unicorn fish.
Jamie Haskall was on a fishing trip with his family when he caught the mythical creature on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
The fish - which weighed in at 40 kilos - was actually a dogtooth tuna which had been pierced by a Marlin's spike.
According to the Metro newspaper, Jamie said : ''[The spike] was totally healed so much have been in it for a while. We were wondering if the spike entered through the mouth because the thin bit was at the end.''
The funny fish has since been nicknamed the 'tunicorn'.
