Five-year-old 'genius' passes Microsoft exam

A five-year-old has passed an exam to become a computer specialist.

Ayen Qureshi is now the world's youngest qualified computer specialist, after he took the Microsoft exams designed for university graduates.

Top bosses at the computer firm were left ''stunned'' after the talented tot passed the exam in well-under the time limit of two hours.

The previous record held was six-and-a-half, but the test - which is highly regarded by employers - is designed mainly for adults looking to become high-flying IT experts.

Ayen from Coventry in the West Midlands of England is now being hailed a child genius, but it was revealed he nearly missed out on his chance to take the test after invigilators declared him ''too young''.
