Herd of goats delay train journey

''The goats looked completely disoriented and scared, it was really surreal seeing them come out of the tunnel.''

A herd of goats has delayed a train journey.

Seventeen goats wandered into the station in Terrassa, in Eastern Spain, and narrowly avoided being hit by a train when a driver spotted them just in time.

Catalonian railway official Egisto Rojo said of the incident: ''As the station is at the end of the line, we were able to use our staff to drive the goats onto an unused line and from there to drive them to a place where they could be removed from the track.''

Eyewitness Martin Borregon added to the Daily Mail newspaper: ''The goats looked completely disoriented and scared, it was really surreal seeing them come out of the tunnel.''
