Kansas is selling off sex toys

''Brownback is so desperate to fill the massive hole in the state budget caused by his reckless income tax cuts that the state of Kansas is now in the porn business.''

The state of Kansas is to receive funds from the sale of sex toys.

The Midwestern state is owed thousands of dollars in taxes by a chain of sex toy shops which recently went out of business, with officials deciding that an auction of the shop's stock is the only way to recover some of the money which they are owed.

The five 'Bang!' stores have passed their stock on to Equip Bid who are auctioning off all of the items - including vibrators and handcuffs - to contribute to the $163,986 which the stores owe in taxes.

However, State Senator Anthony Hensley is angry about the decision, made by Governor Sam Brownback, but used an unfortunate choice of wording for his criticism.

He stated: ''Brownback is so desperate to fill the massive hole in the state budget caused by his reckless income tax cuts that the state of Kansas is now in the porn business.''
